PlayMark (formerly known as Eagle Play Structures) manufactures and installs commercial playground equipment as well as site furnishings and shade shelters in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. The company is located in Ijamsville, Maryland.

Sport Systems, LLC was founded in Maryland in 1983 by Tilford C. Jones. A former tennis pro, Jones started the company as a tennis court construction company. As the company grew it began to sell playground equipment made by another company. When sales volumes exploded, Sport Systems began a manufacturing division to compliment its contracting business. Sport Systems manufactured the Eagle Play Structures’ line of commercial playground equipment as well as 100% acrylic sports surfaces for tennis and basketball courts under the trade names Sport Coat and Sport Turf, and Rally Master Backboards for tennis and sports training.1

For years Sport Systems, LLC operated as two divisions: a playground division and a court contracting division. At the end of 2018, the divisions were made individual companies with the playground division becoming PlayMark and the court contracting division remaining as Sport Systems.2

Small, large, or super-sized, PlayMark playground equipment is made of high-quality roto-molded plastic and features a clamp-free attachment system for easy installation and safety.3 PlayMark also offers a wide variety of independent play features as well as site furnishings and shade shelters.4

All PlayMark sales personnel are Certified Playground Safety Inspectors (CPSI) as certified through the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). As an International Play Equipment Manufacturing Association (IPEMA) member, PlayMark complies with ASTM F1487-07 specifications and participates in IPEMA's structural integrity testing program.5
